“AI in Astrophotography” presented February 21, 2023
This presentation was given via Zoom and covered the Xterminator processes from Russ Cromen. In it, I describe the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in astrophotography and demonstrate part of my post-processing workflow using these processes.

Presentations to the St. Louis Camera Club
“Astrophotography : The Sky’s The Limit” presented November 2, 2016
The first presentation given to the St. Louis Camera Club discusses the fundamentals of telescopes, observing and image capture using DSLR camera. The content predates the construction of the new Skyshed POD MAX dome when the Skyshed roll off roof observatory was used.

“Astrophotography II : Capturing the Final Frontier” presented March 21, 2018
The second presentation given to the St. Louis Camera Club involves the introduction of the new observatory dome and equipment. It features a more detailed explanation of astrophotography image acquisition, pre-processing and post-processing with initial objects taken after the observatory went online.

“Astrophotography III : To Infinity and Beyond” presented February 19, 2020
The third presentation given to the St. Louis Camera Club discusses the evolution of technologies and techniques, as well as a roadmap for future steps. An astroimage display will be also featured.
