Today I ran my raw sub frames of M45 The Pleiades cluster through the new processing workflow. These were images taken on April 2, 2019. I believe there are more of the nebula wisps showing up in the final product.

After seeing other astronomers’ images of M45, I picked up on mention of a far away galaxy in the picture near the star Electra. The Pleiades is about 444.2 light years from Earth, however the galaxy PGC 13696, a magnitude 17.3 galaxy is approximately 1.4 billion light years away! I can definitely say that is the furthest distance object I’ve captured.
